This Privacy Policy describes how Inklit ("we," "us") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our iOS application (the "Service").
Account information. When you create an account we collect:
User-generated content. Stories, paragraphs, comments, votes, chat messages, and reports you create or submit through the Service.
Device data. An APNs device token (so we can deliver push notifications you opt into) and the build environment (development/production) of the app on your device.
Operational logs. Standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, request path) retained for security and debugging for up to 30 days.
If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, Apple provides us with a private relay address. We do not attempt to identify the underlying email and do not share the relay address with third parties.
Stories and paragraphs you publish are visible to other users of the Service. You can block other users (which hides their content from you on every device) and report content or accounts that violate our Terms. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion:
Inklit is rated 17+ and is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Account credentials are stored on the device's iOS Keychain. Authentication tokens are scoped per device and can be revoked by signing out. All traffic to our servers uses TLS.
The Service is operated from the United States. By using the Service you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support@inklit.app.
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be surfaced in-app and the version number above will increment. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
