These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Inklit iOS application and related services (the "Service") operated by Inklit ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@inklit.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
You retain ownership of stories, paragraphs, comments, and other content you submit ("Content"). By submitting Content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and adapt your Content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit your Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
You agree NOT to post, submit, or transmit Content that:
We employ user-initiated reporting on every paragraph, comment, and profile, server-side blocking, and automated flagging of slur/profanity matches. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove Content or suspend accounts at our discretion.
You can report objectionable Content or abusive users from any surface that displays them. You can also block users; blocked users' content is hidden from you on every device and they cannot interact with you.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. After deletion a 30-day grace window applies; signing back in within 30 days cancels deletion.
If you signed up with Sign in with Apple and request account deletion, we revoke your Apple authorization token as required by Apple's developer guidelines.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be surfaced in-app and the version number above will increment. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
